here's how to increase it's longevity:

your piece likes chill vibes only.
⋆𐙚 ̊. harsh detergents and bleach are foes, not friends!
⋆𐙚 ̊. tumble dryers are… aggressive so air-dry it is. lay it flat or hang it (away from direct sunlight)
